2. Does this work with my car?
Yes! As long as your car has a cigarette lighter port or a USB port, SmartDash™ will work.
This means it is compatible with almost every car made after 1950.
3. Do I need Bluetooth in my car for this to work?
No, Bluetooth is not required. The sound is transmitted through your car radio.
Simply set your radio to an unused frequency (e.g., 97.4 FM), and SmartDash™ will sync with it, allowing you to play audio from your phone, Spotify, or other apps through your car speakers.
4. How does the reversing camera work?
SmartDash™ comes with a rear camera that connects to the main unit. A cable runs from the front to the back of your car along the top, slipping under the door seals so it's hidden.
The camera can be installed inside or outside your car. Once set up, it automatically turns on when you reverse, giving you a clear view behind your vehicle.
5. Is this easy to install?
Absolutely! SmartDash™ is plug-and-play, meaning there’s no complicated wiring or professional installation needed.
Just mount it, plug it into your car’s power source, and you're ready to go. The rear camera setup is also straightforward with included instructions.

Have been using this for a few weeks now and I absolutely love it. Having a dash cam and sat nav on the same device helps reduce the amount of wires in the car. I love that if someone sends you a message it shows on the devise and you can have it read the message for you.

Very impressed by this. Very complete kit, with all cables and memory card needed. Simple to set up and link to phone, Android auto connects immediately. There is no delay on startup from switching on takes less than a second to connect which is much better than the original in the car !! One reason for buying this one is that you can add apps to it (from their website) so no need to touch phone, I'm able to launch spotify etc direct from the touchscreen. Sound comes from eithe rthe device itself, or through the car audio system - again easy to operate. Very impressive device - now my son wants one !!
