The SmartDash™ comes equipped with built-in speakers, but for optimal sound quality, connecting it to your car speakers is recommended. Here's how you can do this using either Bluetooth, an AUX cable, or the built-in FM transmitter, ensuring compatibility with every vehicle.

Using Bluetooth (1-Minute Installation Time)

Easily connect your SmartDash™ to your car's speakers using Bluetooth for seamless audio integration.

This allows you to enjoy high-quality sound from your favourite apps, whether it's music, navigation, or hands-free calls. With a quick and straightforward pairing process, all audio from the SmartDash™ will be played through your vehicle's sound system, providing a richer and more immersive driving experience.

Using an AUX Cable (1-Minute Installation Time)

If your car is equipped with an AUX input, connecting your SmartDash™ for enhanced sound quality is simple. Follow these steps:

  1. Locate the AUX input in your car, typically found on the dashboard or in the centre console.
  2. Use the AUX cable provided with your SmartDash™.
  3. Plug one end of the AUX cable into the AUX output port on your SmartDash™.
  4. Insert the other end into your car’s AUX input.
  5. Select the AUX option on your car’s audio system. The sound from your SmartDash™ should now be transmitted through your car’s speakers.

Using the Built-In FM Transmitter (2-Minute Installation Time)

For cars without an AUX input or for those preferring a wireless connection, the SmartDash™'s built-in FM transmitter offers a convenient alternative. Here's how to set it up:

  1. Turn on the SmartDash™ and navigate to the FM transmitter settings.
  2. Select an FM frequency on the SmartDash™ that isn’t occupied by local radio stations to avoid interference.
  3. Tune your car's radio to the same FM frequency selected on the SmartDash™.
  4. Once both devices are on the same frequency, SmartDash™ audio will be wirelessly transmitted through your car’s speakers.
  5. If the volume is low or you hear interference, try selecting a different FM frequency.
