At Tech Trove Essentials, we are authorised retailers of iScooter products.
Please note that while we supply iScooter products, we are not the manufacturer.
Warranty coverage is provided in accordance with iScooter’s own terms, conditions, and manufacturing policies.
The following warranty periods and coverage apply to iScooter products sold through Tech Trove Essentials:
Battery:
6 months warranty under normal conditions of use.
Covers battery failure, failure to charge/discharge, or significant reduction in range (test range less than 50% of original after full charge with 70kg load).
Tested capacity must be less than 60% of rated capacity to qualify.
Motor:
3 months warranty for motor failure under normal usage conditions.
Controller:
3 months warranty for controller failure under normal usage.
Instrument Panel:
6 months warranty for electronic faults.
Physical damage to the instrument panel or cover (such as cracking, shattering, or impact damage) is not covered.
Brakes, Brake Levers, and Brake Cables:
30-day warranty period.
These are considered moving and consumable parts whose wear will vary based on rider use and environmental conditions.
Throttle / Accelerator (Finger Paddle):
6 months warranty under standard use.
Horn/Speaker:
6 months warranty for electrical failure under normal conditions.
Electronic Lock:
6 months warranty under standard use conditions.
Please note that warranty coverage does not apply in the following circumstances:
Damage arising from misuse, negligence, unauthorised modification, accidents, or unauthorised repairs.
Damage resulting from use outside the intended conditions, including off-road riding, exposure to excessive water, or use in unsafe environments.
Use of the scooter in a manner that is contrary to local laws, including the use of privately owned electric scooters on public roads in the UK (prohibited under current UK regulations).
Wear and tear resulting from normal use, such as tyre wear, brake wear, scratches, and cosmetic damage.
Failure caused by lack of regular maintenance or routine service.
Issues caused by exceeding the product’s recommended load or speed capacity.
Any consequential loss, damage, or injury resulting from the use of the product.
To make a warranty claim, customers must:
Provide proof of purchase (order number or receipt).
Provide photos and/or videos clearly showing the issue.
Return the faulty part or product for inspection where requested.
Important:
Warranty claims must be approved by iScooter’s technical team before replacements or repairs are authorised. Tech Trove Essentials acts solely as the retailer facilitating this process and cannot independently approve warranty decisions made by the manufacturer.
By purchasing an iScooter product through Tech Trove Essentials, customers acknowledge that they understand and accept the warranty terms outlined above.
Tech Trove Essentials is not liable for any damages, injuries, losses, or claims arising from misuse, illegal use, or failure to follow the product guidelines and local regulations.
All liability for product safety, performance, and manufacturing defects remains the responsibility of the product manufacturer, iScooter.
• Battery: Under normal conditions of use, battery failure, failure to charge, failure to discharge, low range (after a full charge, the standard weight 70kg test range is less than 50% of the range at the time of purchase), tested capacity is less than 60% of the rated capacity The warranty will be valid for 6 months for quality problems such as 60% of the rated capacity.
• Motor: 3 months warranty for motor failure under normal use conditions.
• Controller: 3 months warranty for failure of the controller under normal conditions of use.
• Instrument: 6 months warranty for instrument failure under normal conditions of use. The warranty does not cover breakage of the instrument / instrument cover caused by external force or impact.
• Brakes, brake grips, and brake cables: Come with a 30-day warranty as they are moving parts and their condition depends on rider use.
• Accelerator / finger paddles: 3 months warranty under normal use
• Horn/speaker: 6 months warranty under normal use conditions
• Electronic lock: 6 months warranty under normal conditions of use
