Tech Trove Essentials Return & Refund Policy: SmartDash Pro Car Tablet & Accessories

At Tech Trove Essentials, we want every customer to be confident and satisfied with their purchase. Below is the return and refund policy specific to the SmartDash Pro Car Tablet and its Accessories.


1. General Return Policy

Eligibility for Returns
✓ Items must be unused, unopened, and in original packaging, including all accessories, tags, manuals, and protective films.
✓ Returns are only accepted for unused items. Products that have been installed, used, or tampered with are not eligible.
✓ Items sent back without first requesting a return via email will not be accepted.


2. Return Shipping & Costs

✓ A £10 return shipping fee will be deducted from your refund unless the return is due to a defect or shipping error on our part. This fee covers both outbound and return postage.
✓ Customers are responsible for ensuring secure and protective packaging during the return.


3. Damages and Issues

✓ Please inspect your SmartDash Pro Tablet and accessories immediately upon delivery.
✓ If the item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us immediately at support@techtroveessentials.com.
Issues must be reported within 7 days of receipt and must include clear photographic evidence.


4. Exchanges

✓ For faster resolution, we recommend returning the product and placing a new order once your return has been approved.


5. Refunds

Inspection and Approval
✓ Once your return is received, we will inspect the condition of the SmartDash Pro Tablet and its accessories.
✓ You will be notified via email regarding the approval or rejection of your refund.

Important Note on Misrepresented Returns
✓ If you return an item claiming it is unopened, but it is found to be opened, used, or missing packaging or components:
  ➤ You will receive a partial refund of 80% of the item’s value.
  ➤ The £10 return shipping fee will still be deducted.
✓ This deduction is necessary because we are unable to resell items that are not in original condition.

Refund Timeline
✓ Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days.
✓ Depending on your bank or card provider, it may take a few extra days for funds to appear.
✓ If your refund hasn't arrived after 15 business days, check with your bank or contact us at support@techtroveessentials.com.


6. Non-Refundable Items

✓ Opened or used SmartDash Pro Tablets and accessories.
✓ Items without original packaging or missing components.
✓ Gift cards or personalised items.


7. How to Initiate a Return

To start a return for the SmartDash Pro Tablet or its accessories, please email support@techtroveessentials.com with the following:

✓ Your order number
✓ A brief explanation of the reason for return
Photos, especially if reporting damage, defects, or incorrect items

We’ll respond with instructions and return authorisation.
